Southern Utah Physical Therapy is an independent entity within Cedar Orthopaedic Surgery Specialty Clinic and is located in the sub-level area of the clinic building. The two practices work together in close proximity to provide for the common goal of efficient rehabilitation with full functional return.
This symbiosis provides for unparalleled quality of care with seamless coverage by both entities for one another and a unique, omnipresent line of communication between the therapist and the physician.
Physical Therapist Randy Forsyth says that, because the majority of patients he and his other physical therapists work with have already been seen and treated by Dr. Delcore, much of the guesswork regarding appropriate physical therapy has been eliminated. The evaluations for each patient from Cedar Orthopaedic, including their diagnostic work-up, have already been completed and are immediately available to SUPT upon referral.
The goal for the patients being served at SUPT is to decrease their pain and increase their strength and range of motion.
Southern Utah Physical Therapy also fits patients for braces whether they are needed for acute injuries or for more chronic problems. These braces may be “off-the-shelf” or they may be fabricated as a custom-fit.
