Life Is All About Relationships

Life Is All About Relationships

We have heard so much about work life balance.

People on the corporate ladder and entrepreneurs thrive on the hustle chasing goals.  Too much time spent on working can lead to burn out and other areas of life become neglected. Recovering from burn out can be a long slow process. To avoid burn out, cut back the time you put into your work.

If possible, delegate.  Don't be a do it all alone.  Focus on doing the activities that are related to your goals. Remember to take frequent breaks during the day.  Always make time for yourself to unwind.  Ways to destress can be doing something that you enjoy.  Some examples are read a book, watch a video on success stories of others, focus on the positives. Exercise is a healthy activity to relieve stress and decompress.

Make time to socialize with friends, family, and make new social connections.  Very important.

Life is truly about relationships.

Don't work so much that there is no time to socialize with friends and family is a short explanation of a complex subject of work life balance. Being around people keeps your connections, build bonds, and have shared experiences together.

Not every relationship is the same.  The foundation of our lives are based on relationships and meaningful friendships. Spend time on cultivating and keeping your relationships of all types.

The key component of all relationships is the ability to communicate.

Here are some health benefits of being social with people .

Researchers are discovering that having meaningful relationships with others and family help you live longer. Findings suggest that social isolation, being solitary, and lonely is a bad combination for your health and longevity.

The research conducted on people who maintained strong relationships with friends and family that can be counted on tend to be healthier and lived longer.

Social Support systems are important.

People that cultivate relationships withstand effects of stress more effectively.

People that have good relationships are better equipped to handle stress because there is a knowing that someone is there for you that has your back.  Social connections with people that you trust and can learn from is important.

For example, you need a hug and you are able to receive human touch which has  a calming effect.  The need to talk about an issue or emotional upsets, and give and receive input in the form of opinions or advice to help see a different viewpoint has tremendous benefits. People who have strong social connections are better equipped  to overcome challenges, solve problems, and overcome or not be affected by life stressors.

Friendships and strong social ties creates an awareness and knowing that someone is there for you and believes in you is enough to lower the stress and anxiety levels and creates emotional wellbeing.

Human relationships improves  all areas of life so be social.
